Chronic Fatigue Syndrome & BarleyLife
Chronic Fatigue Syndrome & BarleyLife
Taken from
the Standard-Times of Westport, MA:
"In 1987, Susan H. of Westport, MA went from power
walking 50 miles a week, to barely being able to walk because
of chronic fatigue and immune disfunction
syndrome....
There is no cure for CFIDS, nor is there a
primary therapy to treat it. Some patients have found relief
in prescription drugs, others report improvement with
nutritional therapies. Mrs. H., 49, who is a nutritional
consultant, is one who found nutritional relief.
She is
using a supplement called BarleyLife®,
which she credits with returning her to health after four
years of the illness. Previously, she could not get out of bed
most days. Often, she could not find the energy to even open
her eyelids. While she must still be careful not to overtire
herself, Mrs. H said she is now leading a rich life.
"Yesterday, we went to Scituate. We went boating, then played
tennis, went swimming for awhile, and visited. I am living a
full life," she said. "There are things that can
help." |
